

She was born in North Dakota to Christian and Petra Sethne on September 24, 1917. Ruth and her husband Hardin visited every state in the Continental U.S. in their Winnebago. She traveled around the world with her sister Frieda and chronicled every place they visited. Ruth enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, playing the piano, and chocolate. She was a woman grounded in her faith and service to God and a member of Englewood Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hardin C. Keith, son Rex Keith, her parents, brothers Leif, Norman, and Lynn, sisters Frieda Shankland and Pearl Sethne.
She is survived by her sister Hazel Willems, grandchildren, Dava Smiley, Megan Chaddock and her husband Shane, great-grandchildren, Zachary Wright, Paytin, Addison, and Mabry Chaddock, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery with Pastor J.D. Templeton officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M.
