Ruth Tippen (Cogburn), 84, passed away May 29, 2021 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born April 22, 1937 in Masontown PA. She graduated from Cumberland High School in Carmichael, PA and then went to Penn. Commercial College. She worked for Pittsburgh Steel. There she met Joe Cogburn and married in six weeks and moved to Jacksonville, FL.
She has four children Clark, Skip, Cathy Hopwood and Rebecca, grandchildren Lindsey and Brittany and plenty of great grandchildren.
For over 40 years she worked in the mental health field. She invites all to celebrate her family and offer a toast to her long and happy life. To cut down on expenses BYOB to celebrate with her family and friends. No tears.
