

Sadie spent 30 plus years being employed by Gate Petroleum Company. She enjoyed the work and mostly enjoyed the Customers that made her days’ worth the work. She loved the outdoors, visiting places that took her away on mini adventures like Barberville, flea markets, festivals, great eateries and family time; any time like cook outs or just playing cards in the kitchen.
Sadie was born October 7, 1938 in Hampton, South Carolina to John T. and Lillian Jarrell. Sadie is survived by her children; James Moody & wife, Moni C. Moody, Preston Moody and Debby (Moody) & husband Paul Goschke. Also, her brothers and sister; Tommy, Bobby, Virgie, Betty Mae and Kate. Sadie, aka…….MeMaw and Meme, was also blessed with many beautiful Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Sadie was blessed with the great medical team at the Hematology & Oncology of the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Badar and his nurse assistant Erica, for the past year and Sadie made it known to them how grateful she was for there constant and committed care.

Her graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M, April 26, 2021 at Mandarin Cemetery, 12535 Mandarin Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32223.
