Sally Ann Eynon

Sally Ann Eynon, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 1, 2016. She was born on November 13, 1929 in Waltham, MA., the daughter of Roy and Ariadna Stevens. She graduated from The Cushing Academy in 1949.

Sally was married to John J. Eynon for 51 years. He preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca & Lee Evans of Atlanta, GA; two sons & daughters-in-law, John & Patricia Eynon of Orlando, Florida and Scott & Lori Eynon of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a sister-in-law, April Eynon of Detroit, Michigan, & six grandchildren, John Hiers (wife Lorie), Chris (wife Alexandria), Steven (wife Danielle), Nicholas, Matthew, & Courtney Eynon; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Mason & Jeremiah.

Sally was a faithful member of Englewood Christian Church for 40 years. She served as a teacher of the preschool class for over 20 years and was active in the women’s circle. Her favorite pastime was quilting.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, July 6th at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207. The funeral service in celebration of her life will be held at 2pm on Thursday, July 7th at Englewood Christian Church, 4316 Barnes Rd., 32207 with interment to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
