EULOGY:
Samuel Andrew Nasrallah Jr, was born October 24th 1933 – Passed July 1st 2017
Sam departed this earth after a brief illness surrounded by his friends. He leaves behind
3 daughters, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Sam served his country with honor in
the United States Marine Corp from 1951-1954. Sam had an interesting and fulfilling career life,
working for such companies as Southern Bell Telephone as a field technician, St. Regis Paper
Company and Anheuser Busch Brewing Company as a Millwright.
Sam took great pride in serving his community which he demonstrated through his
service as a volunteer Deputy with the Nassau County Patrol. Sam could spend hours sharing his
tales of service and adventure if you had an ear to listen. Sam was a 32 Degree Scottish Rite
Mason, a Noble at the Morocco Shrine, and 55-year member at Riverside Masonic Lodge No.
266 in Jacksonville Fl. In his younger years, he was very active in these fraternal organizations
taking every opportunity to serve his fellow man.
One of Sam’s favorite things was meeting with his best buddies each morning for
breakfast at the local Krystal restaurant. There he could share in tales of victories and
commiserate with opportunities missed. It was the simplest things which brought him the
greatest satisfaction.
Sam enjoyed nature and the splendor of Gods’ creation. Sam enjoyed spending hours at
the beach watching the tide ebb and flow, and his annual sojourn to the mountains on his
birthday said it brought him peace, to reflect on his life and those he loved most. There was no
truer friend than Sam Nasrallah and the world is a little duller without him.
