CARTER-Sandee Lynn Carter, 55, passed away at her home on Friday, September 4, 2020. Sandee was born on July 23, 1965 in Jacksonville FL to the late Jack Owens and Bonnie Duncan Owens. She lived in North Carolina for a time, returning to Jacksonville FL. Sandee graduated from Englewood High School in 1983. She retired from the U.S. Department of Labor where she worked for almost 30 years. Sandee was active in her church, enjoyed traveling, being with family, and walks in nature. Sandee is survived by her husband of 17 years, Charles Leland Carter, Jr. (Lee); her daughter, Dannielle Davenport, and her husband Ryan; her brother, Timothy Owens; and other extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 10th in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #5).
