Prior to retirement she was an elementary and middle school teacher for the Duval county school system for over 30 years.
She was a member of Saint Stephens AME church in Jacksonville for many years.
She is survived by a son, Richard B. Williams Jr (Amy) of Jacksonville and two daughters Michelle William ( Ronald Stinson) also of Jacksonville, Richardlyn Barron of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving is one aunt Eddylee Bell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one sister Johnnetta J. Walbey and two grandchildren, Willie C Barron III and Wesley B Barron.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Stephens A.M.E. Church, 913 West 5th St. Jacksonville, FL 32209.
