Sara Burgos was passionate about her family and friends. She was a dedicated, loving, daughter and sister. Sara (affectionately known as Titi Elsie) was a fun, loving, caretaker of her nieces and nephew as children, and of her great-nieces and great-nephews as well. She adored all children and they all adored her. She was a kind, loving, faithful friend. Sara loved music, singing, arts and crafts, coloring, stuffed animals, going on shopping trips, but most of all she loved helping others. She always enjoyed a good meal and her sweets, especially her Coke. Sara was always quick to smile, and she had an infectious laughter that she shared with all. She was a great believer of Christ. She was often seen walking around with a rosary around her neck, which gave her great peace and comfort.
She was survived by her sister Carmen Burgos, her nieces Monica Carey and Michelle Navarro-Perez, and her nephew Luis Navarro Jr., along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Our family would like to thank Sara’s Brookdale Southpoint facility family, made up of several dedicated caregivers and friends, for all of the wonderful care, support, and love she was given over the years.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00am, the 24th of March 2018, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
