Sara B. Eder

Sara Eder, 90 a resident of Jacksonville since 1949, passed away on October 8, 2013 . Sara was born in Kisvarda Hungary and was a survivor Auschwitz. Sara was an accomplished seamstress, working for 30 years at Marks Dress Shop, John Baldwin and on her own. She loved her customers, going to the pool in the morning with the ladies, and baking Banana Bread. She was a member of the Jacksonville Jewish Center and is preceded in death by her husband Michael Eder in 1994. Survivors are her son, Leslie and daughter Carol Eder-Smith (Sean). Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in New Center Cemetery located at 43rd and Liberty in Jacksonville FL with Rabbi Jesse Olitzky officiating.

Memorial Contributions in Sara’s name may be made to the Jacksonville Jewish Center or Community Hospice of North East Florida
