

Randall Scott Meyerholtz, II, better known as “Scotty” to his friends and family, passed away on March 8, 2024 at the young age of 47 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on April 2, 1976 to Carol “Ski” Reitz-Meyerholtz and Randall Scott Meyerholtz, Scott was known for his love of the golf course, his quick wit, his unmatched sense of humor, and his dedication to his successful career. As a graduate of Merced High School, Scott went on to attend the Professional Golfers Career College of Temecula, California to further his love of professional golf.
Along with his parents, Scott leaves behind his Wife of 19 years, Vera, and his sons Rocco and Roman, his brothers John, Paul (Jael) and Ron (Debbie) and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, life-long friends, and colleagues. Scott’s memory is honored and kept alive through his family, of which he was so incredibly proud. Although Scott is well known for his value of hard work, his most exceptional accomplishment was being the Father to his amazing sons. During his lifetime, Scott made an impact on so many and will be forever missed.
Please join us in celebrating Scott’s life. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and a funeral service will held be on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32223. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you book a tee time and hug your loved ones because tomorrow is never promised.
