

Shaun passed away on March 1, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Shaun was born on September 5, 1980, in Pequannock, New Jersey. Shaun’s greatest joy was found in spending time with his children and bringing them on exciting adventures. His life revolved around his role as a father, and he was happiest when fully immersed in their daily lives. Whether offering a word of encouragement or simply being present, Avery and Kellan were the center of his universe and the lights of his life.
A devoted sports fan, he was a lifelong, fervent supporter of the FSU Seminoles on Saturdays and remained fiercely loyal to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sundays. Whether he was cheering from the stadium stands or the comfort of his home, his game-day enthusiasm was a hallmark of his vibrant personality.
He is reunited in peace with his beloved mother, Peggy Jean Curran, In addition to Avery and Kellan, Shaun's memory is carried on by his father, Daniel Curran; his siblings, James, Ryan, and Elizabeth Curran; He will be deeply missed by his grandmother and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as a wide circle of friends who became like family.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 11757 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Shaun’s memory to the Emory Center for Transplantation.
