Sherry in the early 70s . 14 or 15 years old .
She had an unforgettable personality that carried her through life .
She encouraged people to move along in life and do the right thing .
She didnt take any nonsense . Would laugh sometimes when you do something stupid , but didn't let you get away with it .
She was a great friend .

Sherry has been the Best Best Friend I've ever had in my life, a side from my husband and sister .
I met her when I as 12 , she had just turned 13 the summer after 7th grade . 1968 . We had hundreds of wonderful times .
We walked to school together every morning before we got cars then we took turns driving ,
We loved Sandalwood. In Miss Cowarts biology class we had to dissect a frog and Sherry refused to touch the nasty thing so we teamed up and I manipulated the nasty thing as she poked at it with the pokey tool and recorded the organs on the chart . We went to prom together because we didn't have dates hee hee . The after parties were great .
We opted to skip senior trip to Disney , and go to St. Pete to visit friends instead . Stayed in Cocoa Bch on night along the way , waking early to go shell collecting on the beach .
While in St Pete while boating in the Gulf of Mexico , they wanted to do some skiing so Sherry , Myself and another friend jumped into the crystal blue water and swan over to a big sail boat of another friend to watch . Sherry was fierce swimming in the open waters .
Sherry was a great friend and didn't hesitate to call you out if you needed it . She did good things with her life and encouraged everyone she knew to do the same . My mom loved Sherry , my whole family did .
She was smart , honest and a great all around person , fun to be with .
I'm glad to have been on her care team these past few years along with her sisters and other good friends who loved her as well . It was an honor . Just not enough words to express the sadness of losing her .
Just finding comfort in knowing in my heart that she is reunited with Shug and Dave and Mendel , and walking in the light with Jesus .
Thank you Sherry for every inspiring moment .

It seems like it was yesterday that Sherry and I would go to Palatka, Florida during the summer to spend a week with Grandma, our father’s mother. We must have been 8 or 9 or 10. We loved being together, jumping on the bed, climbing on the mimosa trees, going to the movies, playing with Grandmas sewing machine....we didn’t sew but we thought the pedal was pretty cool.
Sherry was a year older, tall, olive skin and beautiful.
I always wanted to be like my cousin Sherry. As can happen, the years and different states separated us and yet I knew we held each other close in one another’s heart.

Sherry was my family, My Pal.

My condolences, to the family; especially Linley. Your mom was the best. I remember her as a loving parent of you Linley, when you were in my class at CHA. My prayers for you as you grieve.
