Shirley's family, I too am a long time friend of Shirley back in days of North Shore Christian Church, AJ high school and am sorry to learn of her passing. I remember the family too & often think of those days, Shirley was a very nice person as I remember so you were all blessed to have had her for your mom & know that we do remember each other even as we get older. Dear Al & David, So sorry to hear of your mothers passing, She certainly was a special person as was your father.  Sharon and I send our sincere condolences to each and every member of your family.  I have the same picture of your mom and dad and will always cherish it.  I wish we had known sooner.

My entire childhood would have been different had I not known all of you. Your mom and dad were such great people, who raised great sons! I have thought of you so many times, with love! My prayer is now for you to find the peace your mom now has in HIS arms!

Dear Al & David.  Your Mom was truly a special lady. I so loved to sit on the swing on your front porch and talk with your Mom.  I remember picking stawberries, shucking corn, helping plant the garden, Ocean Pond, fishing, skiing, the memories could go on and on.  She will be missed. It sadens me to write this to you and your families. I worked with Shirley for 20 years at Vital Statistics.  She was one of the most kindest people I have had the pleasure of knowing.  You and your family are in my prayers.

I will always remember growing up with you both at Northshore Christian Church. I remember the trips to Ocean Pond and all the fun times your Mom and Dad provided for you,Alan and myself. To Al and David and family - your Mom and mine (Barbara Anders McLean) were BFF's back at AJHS and beyond. The years saw them grow apart by distance but not by heart. Mom will be very sad to know that her friend has gone before her.  I know that she has had a wonderful reunion with your Dad and other loved ones. What a sweetheart she was - I'll always remembr her with love.
