Shirley Davis

DAVIS Mrs. Shirley Jean Davis age 84 of Jacksonville died April 11, 2013. She was a loving a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. Shirley could be described as a "saint" and the most wonderful and loving person in the world. She was an avid reader, fabulous cook, and was a dedicated member of St. Paul's Catholic Church for 32 years. She was a retired dairy farmer who moved to Jacksonville with her late husband in 1980. She is predeceased by her husband Carl Davis, Sr. two sons, Robert and Jack Davis and three brothers. Shirley leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Elizabeth Duganitz, and eight sons, Carl Jr., Thomas, Richard, Timothy, Paul, James, Joseph and Mark Davis, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and extended family. Visitation with the family will be Monday April 15th, 2013 from 6-8p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel 729 S. Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, FL with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday April 16th, 2013 a 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 2609 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved Carl at Riverside Memorial Park
