Stanley Clyde Dunn Sr.

Stanley C. Dunn Sr., age 80, passed away on September 25, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Atlanta, GA on December 3, 1934. Mr. Dunn has been a resident of the Jacksonville area since 1956 from Augusta, GA.

Prior to retirement Mr. Dunn was employed at Southern Bell Telephone Co. for 24 years and then was the owner of a laundry equipment company and coin laundry businesses in Jacksonville.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville for many years and was a graduate of Richmond Academy High School in Augusta, GA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 88 and the Elks Lodge # 221. He loved sports and was very involved coaching the youth in baseball and football through the years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Minetta, a son, Stanley C. Dunn Jr. (Suzanne) of Jacksonville, FL, three daughters, Mandee McAloon (Gus) of St. Augustine, FL, Toni Hernandez (Doug) of St. Augustine and Tracey Parry (Greg) of Salt Lake City, Utah. Also surviving is his step-daughter, Lynne Shoffner and step-son Richard Perfetto (Deborah) both of Jacksonville, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32207.

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday September 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Holiday Hill Baptist Church, 703 Mandalay Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32216.

Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery
