

Stephen was born on August 22, 1956, in Johnson City, New York, to Andrew and Cora Sisenstein.
He proudly served in the United States Navy for 28 years as an aviation maintenance technician, retiring with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Throughout his distinguished military career, he received numerous honors, including the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, Navy Good Conduct Medals, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. His service was marked by dedication, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Outside of his career, Stephen enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, Bart, who was rarely far from his side. Stephen was of the Catholic faith and took great pride in his family, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, service, and quiet strength.
Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Cora Sisenstein; his sister, Judy Payne; and his brothers, Richard, Roger, Ronnie, and David Sisenstein.
He is survived by his children, Stephen Anthony Sisenstein (Celia), Christy Ann Sisenstein-Karraker (Cary), and Stephanie Theresa Ogles (Simeon); grandchildren, Stephen Sisenstein (Ramia), Lily Ogles, Mikaela Sisenstein, and Kai Ogles; and great-granddaughter, Violet Sisenstein.
Stephen is further survived by his sisters, Gloria Ward (Don), Carolyn Rose (Bob), and Beverly Dryer; brothers, Andrew, Timothy, and James Sisenstein (Caroline); and countless nieces and nephews. Stephen was part of a very large family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
At this time, no services will be held. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
