He was a 1978 graduate of Stow H.S. where he lettered in varsity basketball. He lived in the Sandusky, OH area where he met his wife, Tracey, before moving to Jacksonville for job opportunities. He was employed for the last 25 years with Ricoh Americas Corp as a Solutions Engineer. He was an avid fan of Ohio State and other Ohio sports teams. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, cousins, and close friends to the Caribbean and Destin, FL areas. He loved his fur-baby Lola and spending time with all of his nieces and nephews.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Tracey (Best) Crow, with whom he celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on May 22, and their beloved Lola; brother, Jeff Crow and sisters, Kathy (Dan) Francini, Traci Crow, and Sherrie (Kurt) Baker, Stow OH; sisters-in-law, Debbie Matthews, Auburndale FL, Janet (Stu) King, Fostoria OH, Becky Huebner, Toledo OH, Phyllis Best, Alameda CA, Cheryl Best-Wilke, Joyce (Steve) Brunow, Renee' (Jim) Bryner and Kim (Brian) Cowie, Sandusky OH; brothers-in-law, Jim (Linda) Best, Sandusky OH, Christopher (Martha) Best, Pinedale WY; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles; special cousins, Nick Crow and John Crow, their families and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws, Raymond and Wilma Best; grandparents; nephew, Spencer Crow; brothers-in-law, Gregg Best, Tom Wilke and Bob Huebner, and great niece, Taylor Greenawald.
Celebration of Steve's life will be held 2-4 pm with memories shared at 2 on Sunday, August 19 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
Services will also be held in Ohio at a later date.
