Steven Douglas Gambill

Steven Douglas Gambill, 51, passed away December 14, 2014. Steve was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, August 24, 1963. He graduated from Nashville Diesel College in Nashville, TN; he then enlisted in the United States Navy and served until 1989. He began his career with Ring Power Corporation in 1994 and was employed as VP of Service at the time of his death. Steve enjoyed all things outdoors and spending time with his family. Vacation was not a word in Steve’s vocabulary because even when he was not at work he was “at work” helping anyone that needed his assistance. Steve had a smile that left an everlasting impression on all those around. He was good at all trades and MASTER OF EVERYTHING. All of our lives have been blessed because Steve was a part it. Steve is preceded in death by his son, Jordan Douglas Gambill. He is survived by his son, Jonathan David Gambill; daughter, Jessica Leilani Faucher (Jonathan); grandchildren, Jonathan L. Faucher, Jr. and Jeremiah Douglas Faucher; parents, Verlin “Butch” and Nelda Gambill; sister, Teresa Ann Stonecipher; nieces, Shaundel, Kimberly, Kassie, and Natalie Stonecipher and Stefanie Brumitt. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00pm, Sunday, December 21 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, December 22 inside the Jacksonville Naval Air Station chapel. Interment will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery following the service.
