Steve was an active and highly trusted member of Dinsmore Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida where he served on the Greeter Team, Security Team and Counting Committee. Steve was an avid outdoorsman, and shared this passion with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steven J. Knapik; his brother, George Knapik; and his son, Michael P. Knapik.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Carole A. Knapik; son, Kenneth Knapik (Connie); daughter, Karen Knapik (John); and son, Richard Knapik (Nelda); He is also survived by his grandchildren K.J., Ashley, Wendy, Steven, and Tori; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will honor Steve's memory on Sunday, November 8th, 2026 at noon at Dinsmore Baptist Church, 10500 Old Kings Road, Jacksonville, FL 32219.
