

Sue was an “at home” mom who did many volunteer activities starting with helping in classes at Southside Grammar for seven years. She worked at the Little Theatre in San Marco in her early days when she returned to Jacksonville. She volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary for many years including being a President for a term. She was very active at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church with the youth, circles of Women of the Church and assisting in the office for years. One of her loves was Meals on Wheels which she did faithfully from 1964 to 2014, driving and delivering meals to hundreds of people.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Errico and by her second husband, Harland Craig. Also, by her father, Luby Smith, her stepfather, Ed Hobbs and her mother, Katharine (Boo) Hobbs; her brother, Bill (Trudy) Smith and her sister, Elizabeth (Elmer) Holger; two stepchildren Christopher Craig and Terry Craig. She leaves behind her daughter, Pat (David) Alban; stepdaughter, Sally (Tom) Myrick; stepson, Steve (Kathy) Craig; grandsons, John (Kelly) Horn, Robert Horn, Chris (Andrea) Casper, Fritz Casper and Jerry (Jean) Craig. In addition, eight great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews: Karen (Henry) Strickland, Karl Edward (Inez) Holger, Dan (Evelyn) Smith & Lynne (Russ) Lynn.
Her memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 8, 2019 at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, 2137 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice of Northeast Florida for their help and especially The Allegro of Fleming Island for years of care and affection - keep on keepin’ on.
