Sue Wells Kirwan, age 75, passed away September 22, 2016. She was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and attended Rollins College. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine Wells, and her brother, J.D. Wells, Jr., all of Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Keith Kirwan; her son, Michael (Beth) Kirwan; and two grandsons, Andrew Kirwan and Stuart Kirwan. She was a caring daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who focused on her family. In her later years, she enjoyed writing movie reviews and a novel, Hurricane.
Visitation with friends and family will be held at the Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville from 6:00-8:00 on Friday, September 30, 2016. A private graveside service will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home, 51 Children's Way, Enterprise, Florida 32725.
