As she was to so many others, Susan was truly a kindred spirit and will forever remain so. Your mom and wife/ BFF was special beyond words...but you already knew that...how she would light up a room when she walked in...her energy and smile just simply infectious...she adored you Chuck, Charlie and her beautiful Julia. There was never a moment she didn’t proudly speak of each of you. I truly admire her, the love she had for her family and how she built her business and would never let anything get in the way of accomplishing her goals. She fought for what is right. She was so humble, funny, filled with joy and overcame so many challenges with your encouragement and help. She was that amazing woman we all know and adore because of you. I wish there was something I could do or say to change fate, but sadly we know that’s not possible. Susan made a lasting impression in my life and that of my family and I am forever grateful for her friendship. Last night an old email from her popped up in my inbox as I was looking for something and it was A message from Susan dated the day my Dad passed a couple of years ago. It said, “ Ilona I am at a loss for words. I am SO sorry honey. LOVE YOU!“ When she learned my dad hadn’t purchased a plot before his passing, she proceeded to drive to three different funeral homes/ cemeteries to get information and pricing and brought it to my mom and me across town. She was THAT person. The woman would would think of the most thoughtful ways to help people in any circumstance. She left a positive mark on this city and this world and I am just so very grateful that you shared her with all of us. God bless you, Chuck, Charlie and Julia and Mr. and Mrs. Mangum. So much love and hugs, Ilona (Matt, Madeline and Charlie) Fischer

Chuck, Charlie and Julia Ann:

Our hearts are breaking with you. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. A part of us is gone also as Susan was always considered part of our family. We shared so many good times during her childhood and teenage years. John and I treasure the time we got to spend with she and Judy in early August. She was a beautiful lady and will remain forever in our hearts.

We know God will have his hand on all of you - as you, Charlie and Julia Ann , complete your college and embark on new careers, and as you, Chuck, move forward with your life. Susan would be so proud. We wish we could be with you, but as you know, John is hospitalized at this time. May God Bless You. Love you all, Linda, John, Bert and Carmen

So many great memories of hanging out with Susan at RGP events. My favorite was the Christmas party at Steven Douglas. We had so many laughs. Susan always lit up the room.

She will be missed by all her former Co-workers.
