

Susan Moss Hunt, 94, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on June 26, 2021. She lived many happy years at the Philips Pointe Apartments (formerly Jacksonville Townhouse Apartments) and developed several close relationships with the staff and residents there.
Susan was born in Mount Vernon, NY on March 31, 1927 and was married to Gordon Hunt of Elmira, NY (deceased) whom she met while working on the set of a play.
Susan worked as a hairdresser in a large hotel in Bermuda for several years before returning to NY where she met her husband. After her children were grown, she worked as a nanny and housekeeper for a family that loved her dearly.
Susan was very knowledgeable about antiques and was the proprietor of several antique shops. She was an avid gardener, loved her pets and was a staunch supporter of the humane society.
Susan had a son, Robin Hunt (deceased) and is survived by her daughter Sharon (Hunt) Davidson; step-daughter, Kim (Hunt) Richardson; granddaughter, Kristian (Davidson) Herron and a great-grandson Tyler Blackwood.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either of her favorite charities; the Jacksonville Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.
