Susan Jean Knagge

Jeanie Knagge, age 63, passed away on September 18, 2016 in St. George, GA. She was born on May 3, 1953 to John B. Kent Sr. and Rosemary Todd Kent in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Knagge has been a resident of St. George, GA for 20 years moving from Jacksonville, FL.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL where she served as secretary for the 2nd grade Sunday School Department.

She was predeceased by her mother, Rosemary, and her brother, Bert Kent.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jerry R. Knagge of St. George, GA, two sons, Roland Knagge (Shannon) of Hilliard, FL, Randy Knagge ( Stephanie) of Callahan, FL, two brothers, Warren Kent (Diane) of Jacksonville, FL, and John B. Kent Jr. (Donna) of Douglas, GA. She is also survived by four sisters, Barbara Moore (Richard), Linda Lanham, Maryann Bradley (Don), and Jessie Kent and four grandchildren, Ethan, Ella Grace, Lucas, and Preston.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, Hobson Auditorium, 124 Ashley St. Jacksonville, FL 32202 with the Reverends Paul Murphy, James Conner, and John Kasper, Sr. Officiating.
