Susan Robinson Reed

REED…….Susan Robinson Reed, 75, of Jacksonville passed away on March 11, 2014. She was born in Savannah, GA, on November 16, 1938, to the late Randal Augustus and Suzie Norwood Robinson. She married Leslie D. Reed on September 3, 1960. Mrs. Reed was a graduate of SavannahHigh School and CokerCollege, where she majored in Education. She began her career as a teacher in Savannah. Susan and her husband moved to Jacksonville, FL where she worked as an administrator at Taylor Residences for 34 years until retirement. She was an active bridge club player.  She is survived by her husband, Leslie D. Reed, residing in Jacksonville, FL, a son, Leslie D. Reed, Jr. and daughter-in-law Patricia A. Reed, of Oviedo, FL, a son, Thomas E. Reed and daughter-in-law Deborah S. Reed, of Jacksonville, FL., and a brother, Randal Augustus Robinson, Jr. and sister-in-law Patsy Robinson, of Savannah, GA. Her sister, Anne Robinson, preceded her in death. Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive her.  A service will be held for family members and friends on Thursday, March 20th at 11:00am at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, with a reception immediately following the service. An Interment will be held at the JacksonvilleNationalCemetery on Friday, March 21st at 12:30pm.
