Susan "Suzi" M Snyder

SNYDER - Susan M. Snyder, 76, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Illinois on June 6, 1941 and lived in Fort Thomas, Kentucky for 16 years. She worked with the occupational therapy department at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children located on the Indiana University Medical Center Campus. There she met a young medical student and the rest is history. Suzi and Dick married on December 16, 1962. Left to honor Suzi and remember her love are: her devoted and loving husband of 55 years, Charles R. “Dick” Snyder, M.D.; their four girls: Laura (Randy), Kimberly, Julie (Aaron), and Amy; eight grandchildren: Michael Saffy, Samantha Saffy, Brandon Rentschler, Chas Rentschler, Ashton Rentschler, Morgan Sedgwick, Parker Sedgwick, and Conner Rentschler; and three nieces: Jayne, Beth and Cathy. Suzi will be remembered as a generous and fun loving young spirit. She was the epicenter of her family and she made everything happen. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life and Dick will always be her sun, moon, and stars. Her life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 29th with the family receiving friends from 4:00 to 5:30 pm and a service will immediately follow at 5:30 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. (904) 744-8422. Interment will be Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Lane 3.
