Sybil E. Cannon, 89, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013. She was a faithful member of Spring Glen United Methodist Church for several years, before moving to Tennessee in 2009 to live with her devoted son, Mark.
Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, and by a son Harry D. Cannon. Survivors include her son, Mark Cannon, two daughters; Helen Boyle (Bobby) and Chris Stewart (Art); fourteen grandchildren and 20 great- grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday March 30, 2013 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Reese, Associate Lead Pastor, Chets Creek Church, officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00am, Saturday, prior to the service, at Greenlawn Funeral Home 4300 Beach Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caris Healthcare, 242 Heritage Park Dr., Suite 101, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, www.greenlawnjacksonville.com.
