Sylvia A. Huber, 88, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 after an extended illness. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the US Navy Hospital to Robert and Sylvia Raulerson. At the age of 6 the family moved back to Jacksonville, FL.
Sylvia graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. After high school met the love of her life on Jacksonville Beach, Ed Huber, an Air Force fighter pilot. They married, and upon her husband’s retirement from the Air Force, moved back to the Jacksonville area and worked as a legal secretary for the law firm Commander & Legler. In 1985 built their dream home in Sawgrass Country Club where they reside today.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edwin E Huber Jr, son, Eddy (Lexie), daughter, Sharon (Mike), grandsons, Chris (Grace), Daniel (Malorie), and great granddaughter Murphy. Sylvia will be remembered for her kindness and always wanting to take care of others. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother always putting her family first and will be greatly missed.
A grave side service will be on Sunday, June 1st at 10am at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
