KASSEES Tajmaher (Tomboy) Abraham Kassees, 61, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 15, 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Najla Abraham Masri Kassees and the late Abraham A. Kassees. She moved to Jacksonville in 1966 and was a graduate of Englewood High School. She was predeceased by her father and her brother Essam Abraham Kassees. Survivors include her loving mother, Najla; brothers, Naseem A. Kassees(Jane) and Romal A. Kassees; sisters, Cleo K. Shunnarah(Nadim) of Birmingham, AL., Seham A. Kassees and Dulyla A. Kassees; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.The family will receive friends on Sunday July 27, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville, FL. 32211. Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Monday in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Romal A. Kassees, Abraham R. Kassees, Nadim G. Shunnarah, Ramsey P. Kassees, Abraham A. Hassan and Andy S. Akel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
