Teresa Gail Mixon

Teresa Gail Mixon, 57, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Gail was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia and lived in Jacksonville most of her life prior to moving to Yulee, FL. She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of ’78, and had worked in the banking profession for 30 years. Most recently she worked with Publix in Fernandina Beach. Gail was predeceased by her parents, Cleveland “Big Daddy” Mixon and Doris “Ginny” Mixon, along with her sister, Sandra Mixon. Survivors include her brother, Dale Mixon (Janna); 2 nephews, Grady (Cassie) and Josh (Megan) Mixon; great niece & nephew, Gracie and Cole Mixon; and many other loving family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 22, at Blackrock Baptist Church, Yulee, FL, with Pastor John Kasper, Sr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Gail's memory to Blackrock Baptist Church, 96362 Blackrock Road, Yulee, FL 32097. Arrangements by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Jacksonville. The family also requests that those attending the service please dress casual and comfortable.
