Teresita Topacio Ilano, (Ting, Tessie, Mama Ting), 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Jacksonville, FL on October 2, 2022. She was born in Imus Cavite, Philippines on June 12, 1933 and obtained her undergraduate degree in education at the University of Santo Thomas. She was a loving & devoted mother and a devout Christian.
She is survived by her 6 children Edwin, Allen, Tony, Alex (Dolly), David (Lala) and CJ (Lisa); twelve grandchildren Sydney, Kevin, Keith, Casey, Rianne, Ally, Lucy, Gabe, Lily, Jacob, Ava and Suri. She was preceded in death by her husband Apolinar and her grandson, Max.
A visitation for Teresita will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery. Following the graveside service, a Celebration of Life will be held at River of Life Church, 2848 St. John's Bluff Road South, Jacksonville, FL 32246 at 11:30 AM.
