Thelma was a dedicated employee of the Duval County School Board for over 35 years. She was a member of AME Church of the Master where she was a member of the Mass Choir. Thelma had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.
She was a lifelong member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Thelma was an educator at heart and loved to give to others. Though, outspoken and quite witty, she always had a way with words and did not hesitate to give advice.
Thelma is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Charlie James Edwards, her sisters; Minnie Edwards, Charlotte (Honey) Hayes, Mattie Whaley, Lillie Mae Smith, brothers Willie Primos, Alfred Primos and Parents; Charlie and Gertrude Primos.
