Thomas G. Argondizza

Thomas G. Argondizza, 65, of Saint Johns, passed away on June 22, 2011 at the Baptist Medical Center South. He was born on March 8, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Gaetano and Pasqualina (Nostro) Argondizza. Thomas worked as a Telephone Switchman for New York Telephone, retiring after 30 years. He was a member of the San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church and the Telephone Pioneers. Thomas loved computers, classic cars, and photography. He was a great father, and he loved his family very much. He is survived by his loving wife, Annette Argondizza. Additional survivors include his 2 sons, Gregory Argondizza and Thomas Argondizza Jr.; his 2 sisters, Serafina O'Leary and her husband John; and Carmela McDonnell; Thomas was preceded in death by his 2 daughters, Alyssa and TracyAnn Argondizza; his 2 brothers, Louis and George Argondizza; and his brother-in-law, James McDonnell. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and also from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 26th, with a Rosary Service at 6:30 pm in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Monday, June 27th in San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church, 1714 State Road 13, Fruit Cove, FL. A Reception will immediately follow the Mass at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
