He was my endocrinologist when I was age 14 and diagnosed with Graves disease. He also was the physician for my father who had type I diabetes.

Uncle Tom is never forgotten, that would be impossible.  And, while he is not here physically any more, he lives on in our hearts and memories.  What a special person he was.  I feel privileged  and thrilled that he was my uncle.


A tremendous Uncle and more important a  “person “. Always enjoyed his visits to Wisconsin.  My mother thought very highly of her younger brother. Maybe because they looked so much alike.

So sad to hear about Uncle Tom's passing. What a wonderful Uncle he was! Though I didn't see him often, I did listen to my Mom tell me about their childhood together, their long telephone conversations on weekends, and read the lovely letters he wrote to her.  She loved and adored him so and in turn, we did, too.  And through Aunt Peggy we learned more about him and loved him even more.  So, when we did have the great pleasure to talk to him and be with him it was so incredibly special.  You couldn't help but feel special when you were with him because of the attention he gave you.  Always interested in how we were and what we were up to.  He encouraged us, praised us, and delighted in being with us.  You couldn't have asked for more.  We were charmed by his Southern accent, his twinkling eyes, his friendly smile and the love he exuded. And his laugh, that will never be forgotten. At Christmas, when the box of grapefruit and chocolate/coconut candy arrived we were so excited that it was from "OUR" Uncle Tom and family.  I regret not spending more time with him, all of you. Tom, Jeff, Rebecca and Mark,

I just learned of your dad's passing. My wife, daughter and I were patients of Dr. Constantine going back to 1978. He was the best doctor and friend that anyone could ever ask for. To my family he was like a second dad. He always spent time with you and was never in a rush. When he was ready to retire in 1998 we had a big group hug, cried a little and that would be the last time we ever saw him. We did stay in touch with a Christmas card every year. He will always be in our hearts and we will never forget him. I know that he is happy now that he is with the love of his life and beautiful wife Emma. He often would speak about your mother and actually update us on each of you, all the pets (Brutus) and what was going on in your lives. He obviously loved his family very much and was extremely proud of all of his children and grandchildren.Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
