Thomas Boyd Moody was a man with a kind heart and soul. He brought smiles to my face and madee feel wanted. I admired Mr. Moody very much for his knowledge and experience as well as for skills. He was very giving. He always said to me my doors are always open to you. I was the Home care attendant who made sure he was being taken care of with the up most respect. I will truly miss him. Rest in peace and watch over me. Love always your little Puertorican woman who will remember all the good times we had together.

Having met Boyd through Business and then becoming his loyal friend makes his passing even more personal to me. Boyd was a gracious and generous man who took me under his wing and saved me. He provided me the time and opportunity to get my feet back under me when I needed it most and never asked a thing in return. From the time I began working with Boyd, to the time of his passing, and to the time of mine, I will honorably and humbly be in his debt.

Dear family,
I’am a friend of Christina and I met Boyd for the first time in Ponte Vedra Beach in 1998 after a long trip from the Netherlands. First it was the plan to get me a job at Moody’s but we soon agreed that I could better help him at his house.
I stayed there white a lot of pleasure and we made some really nice trips. Boyd was very hospitable and thanks to him I started with scuba diving. We made a lot of dives together and he learned me a lot about diving and his enthusiasm was contagious. Boyd always refuses to were a wetsuit because he said he was never cold! You could see he was but he would say that that the shirt was enough! Characteristically Boyd always positive!

My sympathy for all of you,
Daan van Konijnenburg

Boyd and I were friends at Assumption School starting in the fourth grade and later at Bishop Kenny High School. Boyd first invited me to his house when we were in the fourth grade. I have fond memories of that visit and the others that followed. Mrs. Moody and Maxine were especially nice. Boyd and I liked to explore the shore of the St. Johns downriver from Miller's Creek, and we especially liked to dam up this one small stream until the force of the water behind it would cause our earthen dams to collapse . Such were the simple pleasures of childhood! I live far from Jacksonville, so I can't attend the rosary or funeral, but I'd like to extend my condolences to the family.

We have known Boyd for a short time and he was a very pleasant person and friendly. We have had the pleasure of visiting with him at his house and also at the museum. We had lunch with him a few times at his house and also went down to the beach.

He will be missed by all. Sending our condolences to the family.
