Thomas J. Morgan, age 86, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on August 23, 2017. Mr. Morgan was born in New Albany, Indiana on December 2, 1930. He was one of five children born to Frank T. and Lenora Kerr Morgan.. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Japan during the Korean War. He was a railroad employee for 32 years and retired from CSX Corporation in December of 1987. Tom was predeceased by his parents; 3 brothers, Jack, Frank, and Robert. Surviving are his wife, June Morgan, two sons, Stephen (Pegi), and David; two grandchildren, William and Carolyn; one brother, Charles; other nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Road North with funeral Mass to follow starting at 10:00 AM Private interment will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church.
