Thomas Herman Stratton Sr.

Prior to retirement Mr. Stratton was a Supervisor with the City of Jacksonville, Water Works Department. After retirement 20 years ago he moved to Waldo, FL where he could be near his grandchildren and spend time on his farm.

He had been a life member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

.

He was predeceased by his wife Mary Stratton.

He is survived by his son, Thomas H. Stratton Jr. of Jacksonville, two daughters, Donna Oliver of Jacksonville and Wanda Stratton of Waldo, FL, Two brothers, Steven and Jimmy Stratton of Jacksonville, and four sisters, Betty Stephens, Susan Wallace, Barbara Stratton of Jacksonville and Deborah Hartman of Waldo. Also survived by his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday August 25, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Hardage Giddens Funeral Home 5753 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32244.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5100 Firestone Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32210. With interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, FL.
