With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Travis Dale Anderson, who passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 50, in Jacksonville, Florida. Travis was born on September 19, 1975, in Gainesville, Florida. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, veteran, and friend. While our hearts are broken by this loss, we find comfort in celebrating a life marked by generosity, compassion, and unwavering love for others.
Travis proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying the values of service, loyalty, and sacrifice throughout every season of his life. He showed up when it mattered most, quietly giving of himself without expecting anything in return.
He had a remarkable ability to connect with people. His kindness, easy smile, and genuine interest in others led to countless friendships. His servant’s heart wasn’t something he talked about - it was simply the way he lived. Those who knew him have endless stories of his selflessness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Travis embraced life with enthusiasm. He appreciated a well-placed joke, loved making up silly songs, and had a gift for finding humor in everyday moments. He adored his wife, Michelle, and treasured traveling with his favorite person to the places they loved most.
He cherished the time he spent with his children, teaching them to build watches, sharing his love of collecting cologne, and passing along his appreciation for a great pair of shoes. He loved spending time with friends, fishing, playing softball, and riding his Ducati.
He was known for his extraordinary tattoos and was a devoted fan of the Orlando Magic, the Florida Gators, and the Chicago Cubs. Above all else, however, his greatest joy was his family.
Travis is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Anderson; his son, Aiden Joseph Anderson (15), his step-daughter, Chloe Reagan Neal (20), and his son, Travis Evan Anderson (33) and wife, Krystal, along with their children, Bradley (13), Layla (12), and Desmond (9 months); his mother, Rita Page; his father, George Anderson and his wife, Sheila; his sister, Tanya Anderson; and many other cherished family members and dear friends whose lives were forever changed by knowing him.
Travis’s family chose to honor his life through organ donation - a decision that reflected exactly who he was. Through his final act of generosity, four families have been given hope, healing, and a renewed chance at life.
Though we grieve deeply, we are forever grateful that a part of Travis’s legacy lives on in the lives he helped save. His compassion, generosity, devotion to family, and willingness to serve others will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever making a difference.
