Vera Catherine Raffanti Gallagher, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted friend, passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and joy. Born on August 26, 1932, in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Vera lived her 92 years with purpose, passion, and unwavering devotion to her family and her faith.
A proud graduate of Cranston High School, Vera went on to complete her studies at Bryant College in 1950. She married, Walter J. Gallagher, Jr., and together they raised three wonderful children. Throughout her impressive 50+ year career as a Legal Secretary, Vera was admired for her intelligence, professionalism, and dedication. She was a proud member of the Legal Secretaries Association.
Vera brought joy wherever she went. She danced with the Turning Point Dance Team, traveled the World, enjoyed shows and puzzles, and was an enthusiastic member of the Red Hat Society. A devout Catholic and founding parishioner of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, she was a prayer warrior who dedicated her life to serving Jesus and lifting others up through prayer, compassion, and laughter.
She was predeceased by her loving parents, Bruno and Ella Raffanti, and her former husband, Walter J. Gallagher, Jr. Her memory will be cherished forever by her surviving family:

Vera's spirit, kindness, and infectious joy touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her light continues to shine in the hearts of those she loved.
