Mrs. Losco was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Joseph G. Losco, a son, Daniel J. Losco, Sr., and a grandson, Aaron T. Seabrook. She was a faithful wife, devoted mother and a caring, supportive grandmother and great-grandmother who truly loved and cherished her family with all her heart. Virginia was a faithful member of Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church until the onset of declining health. Over the years, Mrs. Losco served on the Council of Elder Affairs for the City of Jacksonville. For over 30 years she worked at her voting precinct as inspector and clerk. She was also an active member of the Windy Hill Civic Association where she served as past secretary and treasurer. In addition, Virginia was also a member of the Windy Hill Elementary PTA and volunteered there for many years. She was a Band Booster parent for the local middle school and high school. “Granny” was also well known at the Windy Hill Baseball Park. She was secretary and bookkeeper for Losco Plumbing. In her early days, she was a Blue Bird and Campfire Girl troop leader.
Mrs. Losco indeed lived a full life of serving the Lord and His People.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Seabrook (David), Grandchildren: Joey Seabrook (Jodi), Burnie Seabrook, Daniel Losco (Ashley), Rocky Losco (Amanda), Rebecca Losco, Billy Joe Losco, Shane Losco, and Rachel Losco. Great Grandchildren: Charlotte and Abram Seabrook, Danny and Lucas Losco, Anna Losco.
A celebration of Mrs. Losco’s life will be held 10:00 A.M. graveside Friday, August 12, 2022 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32207, with Pastor “T” Tafaoa officiating.
