
Vladislav Constantinovich was born in Middle Asia, Tashkent City, Uzbekistan, on January 23, 1949, to Aleksandra and Constantin Belousov. He was a very successful student and graduated from the district High School with Academic Excellence. He served in the Army for 2 years in anti-aircraft defense as it was a mandatory requirement and was demobilized in 1970. Vladislav Belousov graduated from the University of Tashkent City with a Master's degree in high physics and math in 1976. He married Galina I. Murashko in 1976.
Vladislav Belousov was an advanced engineer and electrician. He conducted and assisted with major construction projects throughout Middle Asia. In 2011, he relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to join the Cottrell family household, and help raise his beloved granddaughter, Sophia.
Vladislav Belousov is survived by his wife Galina Ivanovna Belousova, his children Victoria Vladislavovna Cottrell and her husband Michel Aron Cottrell, Margarita Vladislavovna Shevchenko, and her husband Vadim Sergeevich Shevchenko. His grandchildren include Sophia Cottrell, Ilya Shevchenko and Victoria Shevchenko.
A visitation for Vladislav will be held Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, 12760 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32224. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 12760 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32224. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
