Wendy Margaret Davis

DAVIS - Wendy M. Davis, beautiful bride of Arnold R. “Dave” Davis, passed away on their 54th wedding anniversary, March 12.  Wendy was born in Dover, England in 1942 during a WW2 bombing raid by German forces.   Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Joan Hougham, and her sister Valerie Thorne of Margate, Kent, England.  She is survived by her husband Dave; daughters Tracy (Ron) and Andrea; son Brett; grandchildren Tim, Jill, Matt and Connor; great grandchildren Dominique and Zack; brother Michael “Mick” (Carol) of Newhaven, England; and many beloved nephews and nieces in England and the United States.   Wendy was cherished by her family and will be greatly missed by them and her many friends in both countries.  She strove for all of her life to help and care for others regardless of their social status.  God added another Angel who will continue to watch and care for us.   A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 22, 11am at Fort Caroline Presbyterian Church, 3754 University Club Blvd, Dr. Don Heath, minister.   Wendy requested that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Ft. Caroline Presbyterian Church where she was a member and Elder for many years.   God bless my bride.
