William Riley Flanders, 78, died peacefully Monday, January 08, 2018, at his home in Riverside. He was born and raised in Florida, the son of Clyde Melvin and Mary Pauline (Attaway) Flanders. In his early years, Mr. Flanders was a jet mechanic with the United States Air Force. After leaving the service he moved back to his hometown of Panama City, Florida and eventually to Jacksonville, Florida where he was a well-known transmission mechanic. He was a proud father and an avid NASCAR fan.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He leaves his three children, Paula Beth Antzaklis (Tracy), William “Bill” Riley Flanders, Jr., and Natalie Renee Flanders; siblings, Ronald Edward Flanders, and Shirley Faye Ball.
