William "Buddy" Kane Jr. passed away peacefully on January 7, 2011 and is now with our Lord. Buddy, 61, is the son of the late William and Wilma Kane, was married to the late Linda Baxla Kane, and has two lovely sisters, Dal Murray of Columbia, MS and Kim Sears of Jacksonville Beach, FL and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was raised in Jacksonville, FL and graduated with honors from Forrest High School. He went on to graduate from Florida State University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity, and he remained a strong supporter of the Seminoles. Buddy served 20 years in the Army National Guard and enjoyed his work as a C.P.A. at Scott-McRae Group.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 10th in Sacred Heart Church 5752 Blanding Boulevard, 32244.
