William Anthony Larkin Jr passed away on September 21,2025 in Jacksonville, Florida where he lived for the past ten years. He was born March 11,1943 in Providence RI to the late William A. Larkin Sr and Noella B. Caouette Larkin. He grew up in Smithfield, RI. After graduating from Smithfield High School, he served four years in the US Air Force, and spent two years in Libya, North Africa as a Fire Protection Specialist. He attended Rhode Island College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

Bill worked for 33 years for New England Telephone (now Verizon) as an Area Operations Manager. He was also the co-owner of the former East Side Antiques located on Wickenden St. in Providence. He loved collecting mission oak furniture, art pottery, and artwork. After moving to Jacksonville, he continued haunting the antique shops looking to add to his collections. He was an avid gardener, planting enough vegetables to provide for family, neighbors, coworkers, and a food pantry.

Bill was predeceased by his brother Robert.

He is survived by his brother K. Peter Larkin, and Paul F. Czachur, his husband/life partner for more than 50 years.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at the RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
