William Edward Mangrum

William had a great love for family and friends, he loved motorcycles, bike week, skating, and surfing. His children and grandchildren were his lifeline and his biggest passion. He loved to go to Disney and watch his grandchildren’s eyes when they see the Magic Kingdom for the first time. He loved camping and traveling with family and friends.

He is predeceased by his stepfather David Sage and brother James Edward Mangrum (Termite) William Allen Acree (Nephew).

Surviving members of his family is his Mother Peggy Moody-Green, (Lee Green), His Brother Michael Wayne and (Kenetha Holder), Sister Lujuana and (Bud Pickett), David Edward and (Ashley Sage), Nieces Cynthia, Julia, Makayla, Nephews Chris and David JR. His children Morgan Mangrum- Fowler (Teddy), Lori Fisher (Scott), Richard Hill, Shenna Hill and his pride and joy grandchildren Ariel Fowler, Melody Fowler, Tiny Monkey Fowler, Hannah Kennerly, Ryland Fisher, and his great grandson Knox. Additional children are Stephanie Cauley, Robert Surface, Mark Surface, Amy Betancourt.

William had a multitude of friends that stayed with him throughout life. Willam's huge heart and never-ending love for everyone transcended through anyone that knew him. His door and table was always open to those in need. Everyone knew they could depend on Willam for shelter from any type of storm, or just a shoulder to cry on.

William will always be remembered for his kind heart!

A graveside service for William will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
