

Born in Farrell Pennsylvania, he graduated from the College of Wooster in Ohio and served in the United States Air Force. A resident of Jacksonville since 1951, his family were the owners of Patti’s Italian American Restaurants, located on Beach Boulevard and Roosevelt Mall.
Deeply committed in devoting his lifetime passion fostering youth education and vocational opportunities, along with a remarkable spirit and dedication to the restaurant industry, William (Bill) Patti was Chairman of Duval-Nassau Regional Coordinating Council, Chairman of the Florida Council on Vocational Education, President of Jacksonville Restaurant Association, President of the Florida Restaurant Association and was awarded Salute Restaurateur by his peers in 1979. For over 44 years, many in the community either worked at or grew up as part of the PATTI’S RESTAURANT family.
Bill was predeceased by his son Jim (Lori) and is survived by his wife Mickey, children, Patrick, Lisa (Greg), John (Tammy), 8 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren and loving family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00pm at the Hardage-Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery with a reception to follow.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32211.
