SHACKLETON—Mr. William R. Shackleton, 74, passed away Friday, August 29, 2008. The Sauquoit, NY native was a retired diesel mechanic. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Corey – Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Surviving family includes: his fiancé, Maxine D. Mobley; 2 daughters, Debra (David) Sullivan and Lisa (George) Benjamin; a son, Dale (Melisse) Shackleton; a sister, Hellene Smith; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Following the service, Mr. Shackleton’s request for cremation will be honored.
