Bill was born in Keachi, Louisiana on June 29, 1932. He worked for JEA as an electrician in the city of Jacksonville, and would go on to marry the love of his life, Mabel Videll on December 23, 1956. After settling down with Mabel, Bill became a member of the American Legion, Post 129, and had a passion for helping others and taking care of all the neighborhood cats that would come to him for safety.
Bill is predeceased by his wife, Mabel. He is survived by his brother Joe Videll (Mary), a sister, Mary Ann Dergenski, a niece, Diane Wilson (Matt), grandson, Jacob, nephews and nieces, Tony, Harper, and Jude, and his dear friend Chuck Murray.
