EDENFIELD—Willie Mae “Nana” Edenfield, 86, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009. Mrs. Edenfield was a native of Walterboro, SC and a long time resident of Jacksonville. She retired from a long career with the Jacksonville Journal and the Florida Times Union in the Classified Advertisement Department . She retired in 1993. She was known as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting and embroidery. Surviving family includes: her daughter, Selma “Sandy” (Earl) Summey Lovett; her son, John P. Skelton; 4 grandchildren, Merrimae McFadden, Sherri Wostal, Laura Mansfield, and Leigh Skelton; 8 great grandchildren: Brian, Kyle, Billy, Samantha, Lauren, Bernie Casey, Albert “Turtle”, and Stephen; and a great great grandchild, Gracee. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday (TODAY) from 6:30 until 8:30 PM.
